This data protection declaration clarifies the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of data from visitors and users (hereinafter collectively referred to as “users”) by aureus RE. GmbH, Managing Director Roland Werft, Neuer Wall 17-19, 20354 Hamburg, (hereinafter referred to as the “provider”) as the entity responsible for data protection.

Collection of access data

The provider collects data about every access to the online offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider .
The provider uses the log data without assignment to the person of the user or other profile creation, in accordance with the statutory provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the online offer. However, the provider reserves the right to retrospectively check the log data if, based on specific indications, there is a legitimate suspicion of illegal use.

Collection and use of personal data

Personal data is only collected and used by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection. 
Personal data (such as company, name, e-mail address, address) provided for the purpose of contacting us by e-mail will be used by the seller to fulfill and process a contact / order. These data are treated confidentially and are not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the process.
When contacting the provider (by email), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
The provider has taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and that accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons is prevented.

Forwarding of data to third parties

User data is only forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law or if a user has consented to the forwarding.
This is the case if the forwarding of the data serves to fulfill contractual obligations towards the user. Or if the data is requested by competent authorities such as law enforcement authorities. The personal data of users are in no way sold or passed on to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.

Cookies

The provider uses “cookies” as part of its online offer. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user’s computer and can save information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after the browser is closed, permanent cookies are retained for a specified period of time and can make the stored information available when the online offer is called up again.
Cookies are used to facilitate the use of the service. The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option with which the storage of cookies can be restricted or completely prevented. The provider tries to design the online offer in such a way that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies.

Google Analytics

The provider does not use Google Analytics.

Revocation, changes, corrections and updates

The user has the right, upon request, to receive information free of charge about the personal data stored about him by the provider. Contact details can be found in the provider’s imprint.
In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete his or her personal data, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain it.

Changes to the privacy policy

The provider reserves the right to change the data protection declaration in order to adapt it to the changed legal situation or to changes in the service and data processing.
