2021/04/01 - Aedifica buys 19 Azurit nursing homes for € 245 million

The Belgian care investor Aedifica is acquiring a portfolio of 19 care homes in Germany from the Azurit Group. The total investment of around 245 million euros corresponds to a gross initial return of around 5%. The homes, which are spread over 17 communities in seven federal states, offer space for 2,243 residents and were built or renovated between 1990 and 2017. After the sale, the Azurit Group will continue to operate the houses. For this purpose, new non-cancellable leases with a term of 25 years are concluded. After the completion of the purchase, which is expected in the course of the next few months, Aedifica’s German nursing home portfolio is expected to exceed the EUR 1 billion mark.

2020/07/22 - Aviarent buys three specialist clinics in Bavaria

Expansion of the European Social Infrastructure I Fund: Aviarent has acquired a portfolio of three specialist clinic properties for its open special fund. The total transaction volume amounts to 51 million euros.

On July 22, 2020, the company acquired the properties of the Oberberg Fachklinik Scheidegg in Allgäu and the Panorama Fachklinik in Scheidegg, Bavaria, as well as the Jägerwinkel private clinic at Tegernsee in Bad Wiessee in Bavaria. The three medical institutions specialize in particular in psychiatric, psychosomatic and psychotherapeutic treatments.

2020/04/27 - Oberberg Group: new clinic in Kaarst

Kaarst / Mönchengladbach / Berlin – The Oberberg Group, the leading quality association of private specialist clinics in the field of psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy in Germany, is expanding its range of services: On April 7, 2020, the Oberberg Fachklinik Düsseldorf Kaarst will operate a fully inpatient clinic for adults in Kaarst , Children and adolescents in a modern new clinic with an attached day clinic. The city of Kaarst is located in North Rhine-Westphalia and is about 15 km from Düsseldorf and 45 km from Cologne.



2019/12/18 - Aedifica acquires 7 Vitanas nursing homes with almost 1,000 places

On December 18, 2019, Aedifica signed an agreement to acquire and renovate seven nursing homes in operation.

Four of the seven nursing homes are in residential areas in Berlin (3,750,000 inhabitants); three other nursing homes are in Plön (9,000 inhabitants, Schleswig-Holstein), Wankendorf (3,000 inhabitants, Schleswig-Holstein) and Ueckemünde (9,000 inhabitants, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). The facilities offer space for 957 senior citizens with high care needs. The buildings date from the 1970s (except for one facility from 1994) and have already received various renovations. As part of this sale-and-rent-back transaction, Aedifica is planning a thorough renovation of these buildings in coordination with the operator over the next few years. Aedifica provides a budget of around € 28 million for this. The facilities will continue to operate during the renovation work.


2019/10/30 - Aedifica buys and renovates Wohnstift in Kassel

The nursing home specialist Aedifica is investing in the Kassel “Wohnstift am Weinberg” complex. As the company announces, it acquired the property for around 10 million euros and will invest the same amount in the renovation over the next three years. The initial return on the investment is then around 5.5%. The building at Am Weinberg 39 was converted into a nursing home in 2001, and Cosiq operates there. Of the 144 units, 97 are now intended for independent living with care services that can be booked as required. A day care center is also affiliated. Aedifica also announced that it has signed contracts with two UK operators to expand nine nursing homes in the UK. Here, the Belgian Reit expects investments of 12 million euros and a gross initial yield of around 7%.

2019/07/29 - French financial investor acquires nursing home in Rhineland Palatinate

aureus RE acted in an advisory capacity for the investor group during the entire transaction, responsible for TDD, the market value appraisal and as general planner. The property is currently being modernized. As the project manager, Aureus is responsible for the refurbishment.

2018/10/24 - aureus RE. takes over project monitoring for 22 million clinic project of the Belgian Cofinimmo

Hamburg – On October 23, the Belgian Cofinimmo signed the purchase contract for a psychiatric clinic under construction in Kaarst, not far from Düsseldorf. The investment volume is around 22 million euros, which, according to Cofinimmo, corresponds to a gross initial return of around 6%.A clinic with around 7,800 m² of usable space for around 70 beds and 20 day clinic places is planned. Construction work recently started and the clinic should be ready in spring 2020. A 20-year lease has been concluded with the operator, Oberberg GmbH. The client is PEG Klinik Kaarst GmbH, a project company of CC Coeln Consult GmbH, while companies from SPC Schneider Projekt Consult, which is responsible for project development, act as sellers and general contractors.

Aureus.RE from Hamburg is responsible for project monitoring of the construction project.

2017/07/19 - Press release: Mobile cost estimation including BOSCH Smart Home products via app for do-it-yourselfers.

Hamburg – Everyone is talking about digitization and this is especially true for practical applications around the house and apartment. Anyone planning a renovation, conversion or refurbishment asks the first question about the costs.

Using the VECTIS Planner app, do-it-yourselfers can quickly estimate the expected costs using a smartphone or tablet. In cooperation with Robert Bosch Smart Home GmbH, the mobile cost estimation app “VECTIS Planer” including the BOSCH Smart Home products is now available for download free of charge.

After the successful market launch of the VECTIS planner app in November 2016, this additional smart home application can be used immediately. The app is available in the App Store and on Google Apps.

2017/05/12 - cores RE. GmbH publishes explanatory video for planner apps.

Since the CORES and VECTIS planner apps were launched in the Apple and Google stores, they have enjoyed increasing popularity and the corresponding number of downloads as they become more well-known. To further support the positive trendCores RE GmbH has been offering an elaborately produced explanatory video lasting just under 100 seconds since today and has published this on Facebook.
